Reports: Bill Clinton Hospitalized

Broadcast news outlets are reporting that former President Bill Clinton, 58, is hospitalized in New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
CNN said that a former senior clinton administration official said that Clinton went to the hospital reporting that he was tired and had chest discomfort, but then he was told he needed bypass surgery. CNN reported that he will have surgery soon, but not today.
ABC News reported that Clinton is going to have quadruple bypass surgery.
Former press secretary George Stephanopoulous told ABC News that the former president had been treated for acid reflux disease while he was in the White House. However, he said there was never any indication that Clinton might have had a heart condition.
"He consistently did get good, solid physicals when he was in the White House," Stephanopoulous said. "In recent years since he's left the White House, he's been terrific shape, on the South Beach diet and in very good physical health, apparently."
