Gunmen kill 3 Israelis amid IDF Gaza push

An Israeli woman and an two IDF soldiers were killed early Thursday in separate Palestinian attacks in the northern Gaza Strip, the focus of a stepped-up IDF offensive in response to deadly Hamas Qassam missile strikes.
Israeli troops pushed deep into the largest Palestinian refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, a first in four years of fighting, after a Palestinian rocket killed two preschoolers Wednesday in the Negev town of Sderot.
Palestinian sources said that nine Palestinians were killed in fighting in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday. Seventy-two Palestinians, ranging in age from 10 to 60, were wounded by gunfire in Jabalya camp over a period of just six hours, a hospital official said.
