Freed Guantanamo Prisoner Vows To Fight In Chechnya
Freed from prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Slimane Hadj Abderrahmane has told Danish TV station DR-1 that he intends to continue waging his war against the "infidels" in Chechnya.
"I am going to Chechnya and fight for the Muslims," said Abderrahmane, who is half Danish and half Algerian. "The Muslims are oppressed in Chechnya and the Russians are carrying out terror against them."
Abderrahmane said the US "can use [my promise not to engage in warfare] as toilet paper." Danish authorities have taken Abderrahmane's passport, forced him to stay in one place and are constantly watching him as a result.
