Explosion heard in Afghan capital
There has been a loud explosion in the Afghan capital, Kabul on the eve of the country's presidential elections.
The blast happened near the main headquarters of international peacekeepers, an official told the Associated Press news agency.
It was not clear if there were any casualties, or what caused the blast.
The Afghan government has said it is confident Saturday's presidential elections will go ahead despite threats of violence.
