PRISTINA, Serbia and Montenegro (Reuters) - An explosion on Tuesday damaged a car carrying Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova in the region's capital Pristina but no one was hurt, police said.
A police spokeswoman said the blast at 8:20 am (2:20 a.m. EST) damaged Rugova's car that was traveling in a convoy and also shattered windows in nearby buildings.
Rugova was on his way to meet European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana who arrived in Pristina on Monday evening.
