Teenager murdered in race attack
A teenager has been beaten to death in a racist murder by a gang.
The 18-year-old black man died in hospital after being attacked in Huyton, Merseyside, on Friday night.
The man, along with his girlfriend and a relative were taunted at a bus stop on St John's Road. The abuse continued when they moved to another stop.
The girlfriend and relative, both aged 17, ran to get help. When they returned they found the victim slumped on the ground with serious head injuries.
'Unprovoked, racist attack'
The man was taken to Whiston Hospital but transferred to Walton neurological centre where he died of his injuries.
A post-mortem examination was held on Saturday.
House-to-house enquiries and forensic examinations at the scene also took place.
Merseyside Police said the attack was unprovoked and racially motivated.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.

Ik interpreteerde de woorden van Allard als: "We zitten hier wel lekker wijs te zijn met zijn allen, maar er gaat iets mis als tr de enige blijkt die jonger is dan 25".
Kan ook zijn dat ik er volkomen naast zit, hoor...
