The Danish ambassador to Egypt stressed the respect of his country, people, and Government all religions in general, and Islam in particular. "Because Islam is the biggest religion, and it is one of the biggest religions in Denmark.
In his meeting with Sheikh Azhar Dr. Muhammad Tantawi, the Danish ambassador confirmed that his government wish to build strong ties with Islamic world based on respecting religions.
He said, that Danish Foreign Minster sent letters to the Secretary General of the Arab League, and to the Secretary General of Organization of the Islamic Conference in which he emphasized the respect of government and people of Denmark for Islam.
