Ahmadinejad Sends a Message to World Powers
TEHRAN (Fars News Agency) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Monday that he will soon send a message to the heads of some world powers in order to invite them to peace.
Speaking during his second press conference in the present Iranian year, Ahmadinejad stressed that man cannot witness sustainable peace and calm without theism and justice.
He further reminded that the world is dominated by threats and the bullying of some states due to the fact that man has gone astray and kept away from the divine principles introduced by the prophets of God.
The President also reiterated that the only way to solve man's problems passes through adherence to the moral principles presented by divine prophets.
He underlined that the damage and losses inflicted on man throughout the history have all been resulted from the hegemony-seeking and aspirations of a few countries.
Ahmadinejad stressed that the culture of prophets comprised dialogue and conversation and was far away from the culture and discourse of war, adding that the Middle-East nations have paid a heavy price for the aspirations of some powers during the last 60 years.
He also referred to the establishment of the illegitimate Israeli regime as the most grave and greatest problem of man, reiterating that the Palestinians have compensated for something, in the occurrence of which they have not had any role.
The top executive questioned why man should mourn on the massacre of a part of the victims of the Second World War, while more than 60 million people have been killed during those years.
Stressing that his country opposes US and Britain's policies towards global issues, he stressed, "I am a very peaceful and peace-seeking person, and the picture that the western media have portrayed to show me a belligerent person, is completely wrong."
Ahmadinejad further underscored that the Iranian nation has never sought war all throughout the history, and continued, "How do you expect the Iranian nation to keep quiet while you are continuing with your belligerent attitudes?"
Elsewhere, the Iranian President underlined that his country opposes the present high oil prices and described the western media's propaganda about Iran's inclination for the jacking up of global oil prices as mere lies.
He stressed that the era of military arsenals and arms competitions has come to an end and stressed that Iran wishes to enter negotiations with all the world states, except for the Zionist Regime.
The Iranian president stressed that some world powers have misused the international bodies regarding Iran's nuclear case, adding, "While those who possess nuclear arms are developing their weapons programs and they have never gone under any IAEA inspections, Iran is banned from accessing the nuclear technology despite all the IAEA inspections and reports which substantiate Tehran's loyalty to the international rules and regulations.
"We do announce officially that Iran is an established nuclear state which uses its nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. Iran has displayed all its nuclear activities very openly since our peaceful intentions do not need any covert action," he stressed.
The President underscored that the International Atomic Energy Agency has treated Iran with cruelty during the last 30 years and imposed the ambitions of some powers on Iran, adding, "Don't you think that such a treatment and such dual policies and standards could have paved the way for our withdrawal from this international body?"
President Ahmadinejad stressed that he is ready to attend talks with some of the world powers in order to settle down the present crises, including the nuclear and weapons control issues, but meantime went on to say that such negotiations with the world powers would certainly degrade the position of the international bodies.
He further notified of a message that he will soon send to the heads of the said world powers, adding, "I will try to invite them to adhere to the culture of divine prophets which is the slogan of the Iranian nation this year so that global peace and tranquility are eventually restored."
