(SomaliNet) Islamic Courts' union in Mogadishu has expressed regret for the unintentional incident of opening fire on Center for Research and Dialogue (CRD) headquarter near the main airport of the capital. The chairperson of Islamists Sheik Sharif Sheik Hassan said on Friday.

After visiting CRD's base, Sheik Sharif told the local media they apologize CRD officers for the unintentional attack on the building of the Centre for Peace and Dialogue CRD, where clashes between Islamic fighters and anti terror alliance rage day before.

"Islamic militiamen opened fire on CRD centre by coincidence" Sharif said and he was so sorry about the shooting. Sheik Sharif has also given an apology to the attack on the newly opened Al-Jazeera office in south of Mogadishu.
Sharif said they were sorry about the rocket shell crashed into Al-jazeera office, saying thanks to Allah no casualty there. "CRD accepted the apology from Islamic courts" one of CRD official said adding that his institution would double its efforts of peace making in the capital. CRD plays a key role in the peace making efforts in Somalia, with its director Abdukadir Yahie was killed by unknown gunmen in his home in Mogadishu on July 2005.
