IDF troops storm Nablus hospital in hunt for wanted Palestinian

Israel Defense Forces troops raided a hospital in the West Bank city of Nablus on Sunday, in search of a wanted man wounded in an earlier operation, Palestinian witnesses and doctors said.

Witnesses said soldiers hurled stun grenades and tear gas as they stormed the hospital, and once inside, gathered the doctors and nurses together on the same floor.

The troops used stun grenades and tear gas to deter youths who threw rocks at them as they approached the hospital, witnesses said.

Five people were wounded, Palestinian doctors said, including three hurt by grenades and tear gas, one hit by an IDF jeep, and a fifth hit by Palestinian gunmen who opened fired on the troops.

The troops left the hospital after two hours without arresting anyone, the IDF said, without providing further details.

The apparent target of the operation was a fugitive wounded in an IDF raid on the nearby Balata refugee camp two weeks ago, witnesses said.

Members of his militant faction said he was spirited out of the hospital just before the IDF troops arrived.

Ging die Conventie niet over reguliere strijdmachten van staten ?

Dus Israel beschikt niet over een reguliere strijdmacht?

Israel dient zich te houden aan de conventie van Geneve, dat doet ze niet.
