Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden? is a documentary film, co-written, produced, directed by and starring Morgan Spurlock, an American independent filmmaker. (bekend van Super Size Me)
It is about the hunting of Osama bin Laden by Morgan Spurlock, as he goes through an urban self-defence class and visits many countries, including Greece, Egypt, Morrocco and Saudi Arabia. Spurlock dedicated Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden? to his 16-month-old son.
The title of the film is a play on the title of the television game show and computer game series, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, and other “Where in the World is” themes.[2] The promotional poster mimics the poster to the Indiana Jones film Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The film debuted January 21, 2008 at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. It opened in Australia on April 10, 2008 and opened in limited release in the United States on April 18, 2008. The film opened in the United Kingdom on May 9, 2008.[3]
