R. had zich tot de islam bekeerd en zich een radicaal islamitische groepering in Berlijn aangesloten. R. was geboren in Berlijn, maar had de Nederlandse nationaliteit. Hij speelde een tijdje bij de Berlijnse voetbalclub BFC Allemannia 1890. In september vorig jaar verdwenen R. en zijn vrouw plotseling.
Eerder was al bekend dat de 22-jarige Duitser Eric Breininger bij vuurgevechten tussen de Taliban en het Pakistaande leger was gedood. Breininger was een gewone Duitse jongen, die zich op zijn zeventiende tot de islam bekeerde. Hij werd steeds radicaler en in 2007 ging hij naar Zuid-Waziristan om voor de Taliban te vechten.

Misschien een idee om bij de volgende aanslag op burgers een stel chirurgen op te blazen zodat deze de maagdenvliezen kunnen repareren want het zou toch zonde zijn om ze na één keer gebruiken weg te gooien op de stapel misbruikt goed.

De vrouw is verwonderd en zegt tegen de man : "Ik vraag me af wat ik
