Geert Mak nazificeert andersdenkenden
Geert Mak populariseerde de nazificatie van andersdenkenden. In zijn beruchte pamflet, ‘Gedoemd tot kwetsbaarheid’ vergeleek hij het filmpje Submission met ‘de Eeuwige Jood’ van Joseph Goebbels.
Voor de jongeren onder ons: Goebbels was de minister voor propaganda en een sleutelfiguur van het naziregime.
Nadat de Führer zelfmoord had gepleegd, doodde zijn vrouw hun 6 kinderen en daarna hebben zij zelf in de nabijheid van Hitlers bunker zelfmoord gepleegd. Met hem vergeleek Geert Mak de makers van Submission, Kamerlid Ayaan Hirsi Ali en de cineast Theo van Gogh.
Filmpje
Nogmaals voor de jongeren onder ons: Submission was een filmpje van 15 minuten waarin de vrouwenonderdrukking in de islam aan de orde werd gesteld.
Wat was de bedoeling van het pamfletje van Mak? Een antwoord op de moord op Van Gogh. Wat was dat antwoord? De vermoorde werd veroordeeld en genazificeerd door Mak.
In de NRC van 30 december 2010 schreef Mak een bijdrage ter verdediging van Job Cohen. Cohen had in een interview de toestand van joden onder het nazisme vergeleken met de toestand van moslims in Nederland van nu. Mak trachtte Cohen te nuanceren: ‘De jaren dertig verstoren ons debat.’ Wauw, wat een inzicht! Hoe komt Mak aan deze wijsheid, terwijl hij in 2004 Van Gogh en Hirsi Ali met Goebbels had vergeleken? Terecht neemt Mak het nu op voor Cohen. Omdat Cohen niets anders heeft gedaan dan wat de volkshistoricus eerder, al een paar weken na de moord op Van Gogh met krachttermen aan de orde had gesteld.
Onrust
Geert Mak begrijpt de onrust bij de tegenstanders van Wilders, die hem met nazi’s vergelijken. Daarom schrijft hij: ‘Ik heb het niet over de gruwelijke afloop, maar over het begin: het definiëren van een complete bevolkingsgroep als probleem, zonder te letten op wie of wat. Er is, kortom, meer aan de hand.’
Hier gaat het dus om het antisemitisme. Waar kwam het antisemitisme vandaan?
Het antisemitisme van het nazisme had diepe historische wortels. De grote Luther behandelde in zijn ‘Over de joden en hun leugens’ de joden op een manier waarvan Hitler veel kon leren. Twee voorbeelden daarvan: rabbijnen moeten met de dood worden bedreigd als zij ooit nog iemand het joodse geloof willen leren, en synagogen en joodse scholen moeten worden verwoest.
Kerkvaders
Begon het antisemitisme bij Luther? Nee. Het begon met de oprichting van het institutionele christendom zelf. Al bij de kerkvaders treffen we harde antisemitische teksten aan.
Wellicht weet het Mak niet, maar het paasfeest was gedurende de middeleeuwen vaak ook een gewelddadig feest tegen de joden. Wellicht weten Geert Mak en Job Cohen niet hoe goed het naziregime bevriend was met moslimsleiders.
Op de Balkan had de Palestijnse grootmoefti van Jeruzalem bijgedragen aan de vorming van een Waffen SS-divisie met alleen maar moslims. Nazi’s hadden nauwe banden met de grootmoefti van Jeruzalem, Amin al-Husseini.
Moslimnazi
Al-Husseini was de voortvluchtige moslimsnazi van Europa. De moefti werd door de Britten gezocht vanwege zijn misdaden in het Midden-Oosten. Maar in Duitsland organiseerde hij Arabische propaganda ten behoeve van het naziregime en tegen de joden.
De Arabische radio in Berlijn kreeg vaak teksten toegestuurd van de oriëntaalse afdeling van de Universiteit Tübingen. In Tübingen hadden ze, in opdracht van Heinrich Himmler die goed bevriend was met Amin al-Hussieni, een vergelijking gemaakt tussen Mein Kampf en de Koran.
Zij kwamen tot de conclusie dat Hitler door god, in dit geval Allah, was gestuurd om joden te bestrijden. Dit laatste werd in het Arabisch voorgelezen door Radio Berlijn, dat onder controle van Amin al-Husseini stond.
Communisten
Deze rijke geschiedenis van het antisemitisme ontsnapte kennelijk aan de aandacht van Mak. En we hebben het hier nog niet eens gehad over de communisten van de Sovjet-Unie.
Wie deze geschiedenis goed bestudeert, zal naast nazi’s ook de elementen binnen het institutionele christendom, het communisme en de islam als gewelddadige antisemieten moet bestempelen. Welke groep neemt toe in Nederland? U mag het zelf raden.
Dus, het begin van het antisemitisme, dat nog altijd anti-judaïstisch en tegen de joden betekent, ving aan met het institutionele christendom, maar zette zich voort met de islam. Hitler was een gewillige beul in dienst van het antisemitische christendom en islam.
Massamoord
Mak schrijft: ‘Nee, het gaat in de vergelijking tussen Joden en moslims niet om deportatie en massamoord. Het gaat om het begin, om de jaren dertig, waarin Joden zich buitengesloten voelden en waarin over hen werd gesproken zoals nu over moslims.’
Om dit kracht bij te zetten citeert hij uit een tekst uit de Spiegel uit 1938. 1938? Het gaat Mak dus niet om de gruwelijke afloop maar om het gruwelijke begin van het anti-Joodse beleid onder het naziregime. En dat is in zijn ogen te vergelijken met de huidige toestand van moslims in Nederland. Is dat waar? Laten we naar feiten kijken.
Absolute macht
Hitler werd op 30 januari 1933 bondskanselier van Duitsland. Op 23 maart 1933 werd hem op grond van een machtigingswet de absolute macht toegekend. Vanaf dat moment is het naziregime feitelijk en juridisch gevestigd.
Op 15 september 1935 werden de Rassenwetten van Neurenberg aangenomen. Vanaf dat moment was een gewelddadige vorm van het antisemitisme, waarnaar Luther, islamisten en anderen verlangden, een juridisch feit.
Goebbels tekende op 15 november 1936 deze angstaanjagende woorden op: ‘De joden moeten Duitsland uit, ja uit heel Europa moeten zij verdwijnen. Dat zal wat tijd kosten, maar het zal en moet gebeuren. De Führer is daarover vastbesloten.’
Kristalnacht
De departementen 11 en 12 van SD (Sicherheisdient ) voor joodse ideologie werden in januari 1936 opgericht. In 1938 werd de SD-afdeling Judenreferat geleid door Adolf Eichmann. En in de nacht van 9 op 10 november 1938 had de Kristalnacht plaats. Honderden joodse winkels synagogen en bedrijven zijn verwoest, het was de derde golf van het antisemitisch geweld.
Tot slot sprak op 8 november 1938 Heinrich Himmler, de SS-leider, deze vreesaanjagende woorden uit: ‘In Duitsland kunnen de joden niet blijven. Het is een kwestie van jaren, maar we zullen hen meer en meer uitdrijven, met een nooit eerder vertoonde meedogenloosheid.’
Kort daarna werd de letter J geïntroduceerd. Joden werden definitief uit het publieke leven geweerd.
Dit waren slechts enkele feiten uit de jaren dertig van vorige eeuw waarnaar de volkshistoricus Geert Mak verwees.
Voltooiing
De funderende, gewelddadige juridische en feitelijke stappen om Duitsland Judenrein te maken, iets wat in de Holocaust zijn voltooiing moest vinden, werden dus al in de jaren dertig gezet.
Die periode is volgens Mak wel te vergelijken met de manier waarop Nederland nu met moslims omgaat en over de moslims spreekt.
Cohen misbruikt het leed van zijn moeder om zijn eigen mislukte politieke leidershap recht te zetten. En Mak verminkt de geschiedenis omwille van zijn eigen ideologische propaganda.

Dan moet je er wel bij vertellen dat in februari 1937 Adolf Eichman als hoofd van de Judenreferat benaderd werd door de haganah, de joodse tereurbeweging. Terreur Zionist Feivel Polkes werd naar Berlijn gestuurd om de nazi's te polsen over soepelere emigratievoorwaarden voor de duitse joden. Sterker nog ze werden uitgenodigd voor een tegenbezoek door de haganah en in 1939 doken meneer Adolf Eichman en Herbert Hagen op in Palestina.
Helaas voor de zionisten mislukten hun plannentje want Eichman ontmoete Amin El Husseini die hem dat plannetje van die zionisten uit zijn hoofd praatte. Bij zijn terugkeer in Berlijn bracht hij bij Reinhard Heydrich, de chef van de Gestapo, een negatief advies uit.
Amin El Husseini deed niets anders dan zijn land beschermen tegen de sneeky plannen van de zionisten om zijn land te beroven. Uit eindelijk heeft hij nog gelijk gehad ook. Zie wat de Palestijnen allemaal te verduren hebben gehad.

Nazi Support of Zionism
Theodor Herzl (1860-1904), the founder of modern Zionism, recognized that anti-Semitism would further his cause, the creation of a separate state for Jews. To solve the Jewish Question, he maintained “we must, above all, make it an international political issue.”[1]Herzl wrote that Zionism offered the world a welcome “final solution of the Jewish question.”[2]In his “Diaries”, page 19, Herzl stated “Anti-Semites will become our surest friends, anti-Semitic countries our allies.”
Zionist Collaboration with the NazisZionism was supported by the German SS and Gestapo.[3] [4] [5] [6] Hitler himself personally supported Zionism.[7] [8] During the 1930’s, in cooperation with the German authorities, Zionist groups organized a network of some 40 camps throughout Germany where prospective settlers were trained for their new lives in Palestine. As late as 1942 Zionists operated at least one of these officially authorized “Kibbutz” training camps[9] over which flew the blue and white banner which would one day be adopted as the national flag of “Israel”.[10]
The Transfer Agreement (which promoted the emigration of German Jews to Palestine) implemented in 1933 and abandoned at the beginning of WWII is an important example of the cooperation between Hitler’s Germany and international Zionism. [11] Through this agreement, Hitler’s Third Reich did more than any other government during the 1930’s to support Jewish development in Palestine and further the Zionist goals.
Hitler and the Zionists had a common goal: to create a world Jewish Ghetto as a solution to the Jewish Question.
The Zionist so-called “World Jewish Congress” declared war on the country of Germany,[12] [13] knowing that it would affect their Jewish brothers residing in that country who would be left without protection. When others tried to help them escape to other countries, the Zionist movement took actions which caused those countries to lock their doors to Jewish immigration (read more in the books, “Perfidy” and “Min Hametzer”). As a result of the Zionist influence five ships of Jewish refugees from Germany arriving in the United States were turned back to the gas chambers.
The fundamental aim of the Zionist movement has been not to save Jewish lives but to create a “Jewish state” in Palestine.
On December 7, 1938, Ben Gurion, the first head of the Zionist ‘state of Israel’ declared “If I knew it was possible to save all the children in Germany by taking them to England, and only half of the children by taking them to Eretz Israel, I would choose the second solution. For we must take into account not only the lives of these children but also the history of the people of Israel.”[14]
On August 31, 1949, Ben Gurion stated: “Although we have realized our dream of creating a Jewish State, we are only at the beginning. There are still only 900,000 Jews in Israel, whereas the majority of the Jewish people still remains abroad. Our future task is to bring all the Jews to Israel.”
Of the two and a half million Jews seeking refuge from the Nazis between 1935 and 1943, less than 9% went to settle in Palestine. The vast majority, 75%, went to the Soviet Union. In the mid-70’s, more people emigrated out of ‘Israel’ than came in. The only surges of immigration to the Zionist state have occurred during anti-Semitic threats and persecution in foreign countries.[15]
It follows that for the Zionist state to achieve its goal of a Jewish world ghetto anti-Semitism must be promoted and encouraged, and as we have seen, by acts of violence if necessary.
“To attain its practical objectives, Zionism hopes it will be able to collaborate with a government that is fundamentally hostile to the Jews”.[16]
The use of anti-Semitism as a tool to coerce immigration to the Zionist state continues to the present day:
Prime Minister Sharon has stated that anti-Semitism is on the rise and that the only hope for the safety of Jews is to move to Israel under the protection of the Zionist state. “The best solution to anti-Semitism is immigration to Israel. It is the only place on Earth where Jews can live as Jews," he said.[17]
Those who continue to call the so-called “state of Israel” the “Jewish State” are not only promoting Zionism which is contrary to the beliefs of true Judaism, but also endorsing the promotion of worldwide anti-Semitism. In doing so they are endangering the lives of traditional Jews and denying their civil liberties and human rights.
When the British foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour (sponsor of the 1905 Aliens Act to restrict Jewish immigration to the UK), wanted the British government to commit itself to a Jewish homeland in Palestine, his declaration was delayed - not by anti-Semites but by leading figures in the British Jewish community. They included a Jewish member of the cabinet who called Balfour's pro-Zionism "anti-Semitic in result". In contrast, a great statesman like Secretary of State Colin Powell, a supporter of traditional Judaism, has the courage to separate Judaism from Zionism and to acknowledge that speaking out against the actions of the Zionist state is not “anti-Semitism”.
We call upon our leaders in Washington to disassociate the actions of the Zionist state from traditional Judaism by no longer referring to “Israel” as the “Jewish State” but as “the Zionist State” and to speak out against the Zionist actions which promote anti-Semitism.

Hadj amin el Husseini zag de smerige plannen van de zionisten hoe ze de nazi's paaiden zodat de nazi's zouden meewerken aan de deportatie van de joden naar Palestina.
Hij heeft als onderhandelaar daar een stokje voor gestoken en zijn de plannen van de zionisten mislukt.
En nu proberen de gluiperige chistenzionisten en zionisten Hadj Amin El Husseini als voorbeeld naar voren te halen hoe racistisch de arabieren zijn tegen de joden. Dat het Nazisme van de arabieren afkomt.
Wat een smerige leugenaars zijn de zionisten. Zij hebben het meest samengewerkt met de nazi's en toch proberen ze hun smerige propagandaleugens te verspreiden om haar aan te wakkeren tegen de arabieren.
De zionisten hebben zelf joden opgeofferd om maar steun van de verraderlijke westerlingen te kunnen krijgen.
Zionisten hebben vele nazi's na de oorlog in dienst genomen en royale salarissen betaald etc....

Relaties met Duitsland
In zijn verzet tegen het Britse koloniale bestuur en de Jodse immigratie zocht Al-Hoesseini onder andere steun bij Duitsland. Direct na de machtsovername door Hitler en de nazi's in 1933 zocht hij toenadering tot de nieuwe Duitse machthebbers. Bij de ontmoeting met de nieuwe Duitse consul, Wolff, in Jeruzalem bood Al-Hoesseini direct zijn diensten aan en deelde hij mee: `De Moslims in en buiten Palestina begroeten het nieuwe regime in Duitsland van harte en hopen dat ook andere landen het fascistisch-antidemocratisch staatsbestel zullen overnemen.[3]` Duitsland wilde hier in dat jaar geen gebruik van maken om de Duits-Britse betrekkingen niet te beschadigen. In 1937 waren er meer contacten tussen Duitsland en Al-Hoesseini. In april 1941 pleegde Rasjid Ali, die onder invloed stond van Al-Hoesseini, in Irak een pro-Duitse staatsgreep. Toen de Britse troepen de opstand neersloegen vluchtte Al-Hoesseini naar nazi-Duitsland.
Op 28 november 1941 bracht hij in Berlijn een eerste bezoek aan Adolf Hitler, en verzocht hem een verklaring af te leggen van steun aan "de Arabische strijd voor onafhankelijkheid en bevrijding", aan welk verzoek Hitler echter niet wilde voldoen. De oplossing van het "jodenprobleem" werd echter wel in detail besproken.[4]

the revolt of the Palestinian Arab masses in 1936 made Berlin re-think the implications of their pro-Zionist policies. Intense unrest had been aroused in October 1935 by the discovery of weapons in a cement cargo bound for Tel Aviv, and the situation became feverish in November when Shaykh Izz al-Din al-Qassam, a popular Muslim preacher, took to the hills with a guerrilla band. British troops soon killed him, but his funeral developed into a passionate demonstration. The crisis dragged on for months before it finally exploded on the night of 15 April 1936, when a remnant of Qassam’s band stopped traffic on the Tulkarm road, robbing travellers and killing two Jews. Two Arabs were slain in reprisal the next night. The funeral of the Jews turned into a right-wing Zionist demonstration and the crowd started marching on Arab Jaffa. The police opened fire, four Jews were shot and, again, Arabs were attacked on the streets of Tel Aviv in retaliation. A counter-march soon started for Tel Aviv. The revolt was on. A spontaneous general strike developed and the pressure from below forced the rival cliques within the Arab establishment to unite in an Arab Higher Committee under the leadership of the Mufti. However, the Higher Committee feared that the continuation of the rising would put the peasantry permanently beyond its leaders’ control, and finally prevailed upon the strike committees to call off the protest on 12 October, pending the outcome of a British Royal Commission’s investigation.
Until the Arab revolt, the Nazis’ patronage of Zionism had been warm but scarcely committed, as we have seen. However, with the political turmoil in Palestine and the appointment of the Peel Commission, the WZO saw their chance to persuade the Nazis to make a public commitment to them in Palestine itself. On 8 December 1936 a joint delegation of the Jewish Agency, the highest body of the WZO in Palestine, and the Hitachdut Olei Germania (the German Immigrants Association), went to the Jerusalem office of Doehle, the German Consul-General. The Zionist scholar, David Yisraeli, has related the incident.
They sought through Doehle to persuade the Nazi government to have its Jerusalem representative appear before the Peel Commission, and declare that Germany was interested in an increased immigration to Palestine because of its eagerness to have the Jews emigrate from Germany. The Consul, however, rejected the proposal on the spot. His official reasons were that considerations of increased immigration from Germany would inevitably bring out the matter of the transfer which was detrimental to British exports to Palestine. [3]
Characteristically, the Zionists were more eager to extend their relationship than the Nazis, but Doehle’s rejection of their request did not stop them from further approaches. The outcome of the Peel Commission’s expedition was thought crucial to the Zionist endeavour and it was therefore the Haganah, then the military arm of the Jewish Agency (de facto the Labour Zionist militia), that obtained Berlin’s permission to negotiate directly with the Sicherheitsdienst (SD), the Security Service of the SS. A Haganah agent, Feivel Polkes, arrived in Berlin on 26 February 1937 and was assigned Adolf Eichmann as his negotiating partner. Eichmann had been a protege of the pro-Zionist von Mildenstein and, like his mentor, had studied Hebrew, read Herzl and was the SD’s specialist on Zionism. The Eichmann-Polkes conversations were recorded in a report prepared by Eichmann’s superior, Franz-Albert Six, which was found in the SS files captured by the American Army at the end of the Second World War:
Polkes is a national-Zionist He is against all Jews who are opposed to the erection of a Jewish state in Palestine. As a Haganah man he fights against Communism and all aims of Arab-British friendship ... He noted that the Haganah’s goal is to reach, as soon as possible, a Jewish majority in Palestine. Therefore he worked, as this objective required, with or against the British Intelligence Service, the Sureté Generale, with England and Italy ... He declared himself willing to work for Germany in the form of providing intelligence as long as this does not oppose his own political goals. Among other things he would support German foreign policy in the Near East. He would try to find oil sources for the German Reich without affecting British spheres of interest if the German monetary regulations were eased for Jewish emigrants to Palestine. [4]
Six definitely thought that a working alliance with the Haganah would be in the Nazis’ interest. They still needed the latest inside information on the various Jewish boycott groups and on Jewish plots against the lives of prominent Nazis. He was eager to allow the SS to help the Zionists in return.
Pressure can be put on the Reich Representation of Jews in Germany in such a way that those Jews emigrating from Germany go exclusively to Palestine and not go to other countries. Such measures lie entirely in the German interest and is already prepared through measures of the Gestapo. Polkes’ plans to create a Jewish majority in Palestine would be aided at the same time through these measures. [5]

Zionist Collaboration with the Nazis

In 1983, Croom Helm Ltd. published my 1st book, Zionism in the Age of the Dictators. American writers don't expect favorable reviews from the London Times, but editorialist Edward Mortimer declared that "Brenner is able to cite numerous cases where Zionists collaborated with anti-Semitic regimes, including Hitler's."
Still less could a Trotskyist dream of a review from Izvestia, the Soviet government gazette, but they hailed it. "During the world war, Brenner points out, Zionism showed its real meaning: for the sake of its ambitions, it sacrificed the blood of millions of Jews."
Louis Rapoport, a failed Berkeley radical, denounced the book in the Jerusalem Post as "leftist babble." Nevertheless, he conceded, there were "very real charges that will continue to haunt" Zionism "until they are dealt with honestly."
In 1987, Jim Allen, the celebrated British movie/TV writer, based Perdition, a stage play, on the book. When intense pressure on the Royal Court Theatre canceled production, we debated Sir Martin Gilbert, the Churchill family's private historian, and Stephen Roth, head of the British Zionist Federation, nationwide, prime-time on ITV. The London Review of Books said the Zionist scheme "made it one of the most famous plays of the decade." Indeed, unless the Queen was sick on the crapper, every politically or theatrically interested person in Britain watched us win, thanks to director Ken Loach's strategic instructions.
Extraordinary world interest wasn't matched in America's media. Alex Cockburn championed the book in the Village Voice and in the Nation. But the Voice refused to review it. The Nation sent it out to someone, but, sorry, "he never sent in the review."
Walter Laqueur had to bark in the Zionist New Republic after their Perdition debacle: "Some of Brenner's book is invented, some is exaggerated or drawn out of context." Yet even he admits that "German Zionists did not fully understand the meaning of Hitler when he came to power in 1933. Some of their comments and declarations make embarrassing reading 50 years later."
Despite Zionism's best efforts, over 5,000 copies sold in 18 years before being put on the web: Lenni Brenner: Zionism in the Age of the Dictators - A Reappraisal (1983) (http://www.marxists.de/middleast/brenner/index.htm) Then Lyle Stuart of Barricade Books discovered that a friend, a Zionist propagandist, had never read the complete proposal of the "Stern Gang," 1940s Zionist terrorists, to go to war on Hitler's side. 51 Documents was born. Now Americans and others can read the evidence and judge for themselves.
There are six selections re Zionism's relationship to anti-Semitism and racism prior to Hitler. The 51 documents, including 35 letters, memos, articles, and reports by Zionists, are from the Hitler era and after. Seven are by Nazis, most notably Eichmann's memoir, written in Argentina, on Hungarian collaborator RA<<zso Kasztner. Five of the six and 43 of the 51 are complete. The rest are extensive excerpts from important reports. There are four first-time full translations of articles from German, Hebrew, Italian and Russian.
Zionism convicts itself. On June 21, 1933, the German Zionist Federation sent a secret memorandum to the Nazis:
"Zionism has no illusions about the difficulty of the Jewish condition, which consists above all in an abnormal occupational pattern and in the fault of an intellectual and moral posture not rooted in one's own tradition. Zionism recognized decades ago that as a result of the assimilationist trend, symptoms of deterioration were bound to appear, which it seeks to overcome by carrying out its challenge to transform Jewish life completely.
"It is our opinion that an answer to the Jewish question truly satisfying to the national state can be brought about only with the collaboration of the Jewish movement that aims at a social, cultural and moral renewal of Jewry--indeed, that such a national renewal must first create the decisive social and spiritual premises for all solutions.
"Zionism believes that a rebirth of national life, such as is occurring in German life through adhesion to Christian and national values, must also take place in the Jewish national group. For the Jew, too, origin, religion, community of fate and group consciousness must be of decisive significance in the shaping of his life. This means that the egotistic individualism which arose in the liberal era must be overcome by public spiritedness and by willingness to accept responsibility."
By 1936, the Post ran a news flash, "German Zionists Seek Recognition":
"A bold demand that the German Zionist Federation be given recognition by the Government as the only instrument for the exclusive control of German Jewish life was made by the Executive of that body in a proclamation today. All German Jewish organizations, it was declared, should be dominated by the Zionist spirit."
Zionist factions competed for the honor of allying to Hitler. By 1940-41, the "Stern Gang," among them Yitzhak Shamir, later Prime Minister of Israel, presented the Nazis with the "Fundamental Features of the Proposal of the National Military Organization in Palestine (Irgun Zvai Leumi) Concerning the Solution of the Jewish Question in Europe and the Participation of the NMO in the War on the Side of Germany."
Avraham Stern and his followers announced that
"The NMO, which is well-acquainted with the goodwill of the German Reich government and its authorities towards Zionist activity inside Germany and towards Zionist emigration plans, is of the opinion that:
1. Common interests could exist between the establishment of a new order in Europe in conformity with the German concept, and the true national aspirations of the Jewish people as they are embodied by the NMO.
2. Cooperation between the new Germany and a renewed folkish-national Hebraium would be possible and,
3. The establishment of the historic Jewish state on a national and totalitarian basis, bound by a treaty with the German Reich, would be in the interest of a maintained and strengthened future German position of power in the Near East.
Proceeding from these considerations, the NMO in Palestine, under the condition the above-mentioned national aspirations of the Israeli freedom movement are recognized on the side of the German Reich, offers to actively take part in the war on Germany's side."
They hanged people all over Europe after WW II for notes to the Nazis like these. But these treasons against the Jews were virtually unknown in the run up to the creation of the Zionist state in May 1948. Ninety percent of America's Jews suddenly became emotional pro-Zionists. With Democrats, Republicans and even the Communist-organized Progressive Party competing for Jewish votes in the November Presidential election, Harry Truman's monetary aid bought arms from pro-Soviet Czechoslovakia, and an Israel was born, run by the German Zionists' cothinkers in Jerusalem.
Jews and other Americans still know little of Zionism's sordid past. But today only programed fanatics can come away pro-Zionist after reading plain facts. Indeed, according to the American Jewish Identity Survey (2001), less than 22% of all Jews declare themselves Zionist.
Opposition to Zionism also grows among liberal educated gentiles, every time their declared enemy, Pat Robertson, howls in favor of Orthodox Israel.
For complex historical reasons, the Vietnam anti-war movement and anti-apartheid campaign emphasized demonstrations over sustained education. Even in victory, little was left behind in the way of attention to foreign affairs among the broad masses. Even after 9/11, the ultimate attention getter, US public knowledge about the Arab world, Islam, the oil industry, Zionism, and Washington's involvement with them, is minimal. But the present anti-Iraq war movement has no choice but to systematically educate itself and the public. The issues are too complex for anything less. Ignorance or illusions about any of the players, here or there, means certain death for X number of Arabs, Israelis, Kurds, Muslims and Americans.
51 Documents can play a major role in making serious study a priority concern for an anti-war movement that will stay solidly in place until the present bipartisan power structure is destroyed and replaced.

In the service of the Jewish state

In the late 1940s, Walther (Walter) Rauff, an SS officer who was responsible for the murder of at least 100,000 people and was wanted by the Allies as a war criminal, was employed by the Israeli secret service. Instead of bringing him to justice it paid him for his services and helped him escape to South America. Documents of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that have been released over the past several years show that the Americans were aware that Rauff's case was not exceptional.
A CIA memorandum dated March 24, 1950 describes the relations between the Israel agent Edmond (Ted) Cross, whose name is deleted on this document, and a Nazi named Janos Walberg: "Subject's engagement be [sic] the Israeli Intelligence Service would fit into the picture as revealed by talks with X with [Edmond (Ted) Cross a.k.a. Magen or Crowder] consisting in the utilization of former Nazi elements for observation and penetration in the Arab countries. The attempt to send the well-known former SS Colonel Walter Rauff to Egypt having failed, the Israeli Service with all probability (however this has not yet been confirmed) had engaged Subject [Walberg], whose sentiments and past would arouse no suspicions in Egypt that he is a Jewish agent."
An earlier document, from February 1950, states that Cross helped Rauff obtain the necessary papers for immigration to South America, even though the attempt to send him to Egypt had failed. Why, though, did Israel help Rauff? This document provides a hint: "It is not improbable that Subject's presence in Syria was in connection with a mission for the Israel[i] service." Rauff was indeed in Syria, serving as military adviser to President Hosni Zaim, who sought a peace agreement with Irsael. Rauff was forced to leave after Zaim was deposed in a military coup.
The mission Rauff was to have carried out in Egypt is not known, but his connection with Cross may supply more than a hint. According to research by Ruth Kimche, a former Mossad employee, Cross was sent in July 1948, as the War of Independence raged, to assassinate several key figures in Egypt with the help of a group of Jews. At the last minute the mission was called off. Cross returned to Egypt in September, but again the plan was not executed, probably because he became entangled in a love affair with the Egyptian Princess Amina Nur a-Din and had to leave the country. According to Kimche, "The whole story is very reminiscent of the Lavon Affair of the 1950s, except that fortunately for them the 1948 plan was not implemented, apparently thanks to the Egyptian princess."
But the plan was not jettisoned, either. In 1949, as the U.S. documents show, Cross wanted to sent Rauff to Egypt. According to another document in Rauff's CIA file, Rauff did not reach Egypt, but a 1953 memorandum quotes the U.S. ambassador to Egypt as saying that a man named Rauff was in the country. True, the memorandum describes this Rauff as a Pole, but it also notes that he organized the extermination of Jews in Poland, making it very likely that the reference is to the famous Nazi officer.
Rauff was born in 1906. He served in the German Navy from the age of 18. In 1937 he was dismissed for conduct unbecoming an officer due to adultery. A close friend and fellow former naval officer, Reinhard Heydrich, who was then deputy commander of the SS under Heinrich Himmler, helped get him into the Nazi organization. Initially Rauff served in SS headquarters in Berlin. After the conquest of Norway in 1940 he headed the security police there for three months. That year he was reinstated in the Navy, at his request, and commanded a fleet of minesweepers, but in 1941 Heydrich summoned him back to SS headquarters.
When Heydrich was appointed governor of occupied Czechoslovakia, Rauff accompanied him to Prague as his technical assistant. He returned to Berlin in June 1942, after Heydrich's assassination by the Czech resistance. Rauff was appointed head of the SS Technical Department and was responsible for the project of extermination using gas vans. After Jews and others were herded into the back of a gas van, the vehicle was sealed and the exhaust pipe introduced into the back. When the engine was turned on the fumes killed everyone in the back of the vehicle. Between 97,000 and 200,000 people, most of them Jews, were murdered in this way. This method of mass murder was too slow and cumbersome for the Nazis, however, who went on to develop the gas chambers using Zyklon B as the killing agent.
From July 1942 until May 1943, Rauff also commanded the Einsatzkommando (a unit of the Einsatzgruppen, the mobile killing squads that were in charge of annihilating Jews) in North Africa and was responsible for concentrating the Jews in Tunisia. In July 1943, after a brief stay in Berlin, he was made commander of the Einsatzkommando in Corsica, and from September 1943 until the end of the war was the SS Kommandant in Milan. As such, he took part in the secret negotiations that led to the surrender of the Nazis in northern Italy.
Rauff, unlike other Nazis who participated in the talks, was arrested by the Allies on April 30, 1945. In 1947 he escaped and was recruited for Syrian intelligence by Captain Akram Tabara, who gave his name as Dr. John Homsi.
Rauff advised President Hosni Zaim in Syria and was arrested on the day of the coup against him. Rauff managed to convince his captors that he was only an adviser and had no command powers; he was released but ordered to leave the country.
According to one of the versions in the CIA files, Rauff was suspected of ties to "subversive Communist activity," as the agent of a German named Von Lipkau. After Rauff's expulsion from Syria, he was supposed to accompany Lipkau to India to disseminate Communist propaganda. According to one CIA report, the mission was aborted because Lipkau remained in Tel Aviv due to other commitments.
From Damascus Rauff went to Beirut, and from there to Italy. With the assistance of Israeli, and apparently also British intelligence, he sailed for South America in December 1949. He settled in Quito, the capital of Ecuador. A 1953 report put him in Buenos Aires, where he probably headed an anti-Communist group. In 1958 Rauff moved to Chile, obtaining permanent residency status there a year later. He became a cattle and fish merchant and was described as a rancher and an industrialist. His son, also named Walter, was accepted to the Chilean naval academy and was the protege of Chief of Staff General Carlos Prats, a supporter of the socialist President Salvador Allende. The son denies that his father ever worked for Israel.
On December 19, 1962, Rauff was arrested in Chile after West Germany requested his extradition. Chile's Supreme Court refused the request and released Rauff. Allende's election as president did not change the situation: in a friendly letter to Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal Allende wrote that he could not reverse the court's 1962 decision.
In September 1973, Allende was killed in a military coup against his democratically elected government. A few months later, the French paper Le Monde reported that Rauff was appointed head of Chile's intelligence service; the report was denied by the Chilean government. Ten years later, in January 1984, Chile turned down an extradition request for Rauff from Israel's Justice Ministry. A month later, West Germany repeated its extradition request. Chile said the case would be reopened only if it were presented with evidence of new crimes. Extraditing Rauff would not serve any public interest in Chile, the court said, since he had lived in the country for many years and his behavior was always beyond reproach.
The U.S. government got into the act, emphasizing to Chile its conviction that Nazi criminals must face trial. The Santiago government came under heavy international pressure to extradite Rauff. Both President Ronald Reagan and British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher addressed the issue in 1984, but their comments did not impress Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet. The Nazi hunter Beate Klarsfeld traveled to Chile to organize protests over the issue and was arrested twice for disturbing the peace.
Then director general of Israel's Foreign Ministry, David Kimche, visited Santiago in 1984. The press reported that he urged his hosts to deport Rauff, whom he described as one of the major war criminals living in a Western country. His wife, Ruth Kimche, said on behalf of her husband that he does not recall this; they were in Chile on a private visit, she says. The sincerity of the Israeli efforts toward Rauff's capture can be gauged from the fact that already in 1979 Israel sold patrol boats to Chile and then overhauled Chilean war planes, and in 1984 was still assisting with their maintenance.
Rauff died of lung cancer in May 1984. The statement issued by the Israeli embassy sounded like a sigh of relief: "The problem with Mr. Rauff is now solved. God has tried him."
The fact that Rauff supplied intelligence to Israel has been published before, but for some reason the reports did not generate a public debate over the moral implications of Israel's providing protection to a major Nazi criminal, who was the subject of an international campaign by Nazi hunters Simon Wiesenthal and Beate Klarsfeld to bring him to trial. Similarly, the renowned U.S. Holocaust researcher Richard Breitman, who as director of historical research for the Nazi War Criminal Records Interagency Working Group reviewed Rauff's CIA file, chose to ignore information indicating that Israeli intelligence systematically employed Nazis in Arab countries.
According to CIA records Rauff's handler was Ted Cross, whose Hebrew name was David Magen. Cross was recruited in 1948 for clandestine activity by Asher Ben-Natan, director of operations in the Foreign Ministry's Political Department, which served as the precursor to the Mossad. Cross was fluent in several languages and had served in British intelligence in World War II.
According to an article by Gil Meltzer in the daily Yedioth Ahronoth from a year ago, Cross - who was from a wealthy Jewish Budapest family named Gross - was an international adventurer, a hedonist and a womanizer. To pay for his flashy lifestyle, he dealt in drugs. When Israel discovered that he had also sold his services as an agent to Egypt - for the very handsome sum of $20,000 - he was arrested and sentenced to a lengthy prison term. After his release he went into the restaurant business and, among other things, helped found the Wimpy's hamburger chain.
Can the Israeli government be blamed for the ties between Cross and Rauff, or was this a private initiative by the double agent? The CIA, it turns out, did not know some important details about Rauff's connections with Israeli intelligence.
In Passover of 1993, Shlomo Nakdimon published an interview with Shalhevet Freier in Yedioth Ahronoth. In the late 1940s Freier was a branch director in the Foreign Ministry's Political Department, and in the 1970s he chaired the Israel Atomic Energy Commission. He has since died. In the interview he related how he had recruited Rauff in Italy, after friends in the Italian Foreign Ministry tipped him off about the new arrival. Rauff was using an alias at the time. According to Freier, then, it was the Political Department that employed Rauff; there is no mention of Cross in his interview.
Freier told Nakdimon that Ben-Natan and the director of the Political Department, came to Italy especially "in order to watch the adviser to the president of Syria enter the house of their man in Rome." Freier introduced himself to Rauff as a representative of Israeli intelligence. For an entire month the Nazi criminal sat and wrote a report on Syria's military deployment.
"When he didn't know the answer to a question, Rauff called friends in Syria for additional information," Freier said. The Israeli government not only paid Rauff, but also arranged for a legitimate Italian visa. Rauff, his wife and their children sailed from Genoa to South America. He handed Freier the last part of the report in the port.
The CIA received information that Rauff had acted on behalf of British intelligence in Syria and gave his handlers a copy of the Syrian intelligence service and political police reorganization plan. He seems to have been the servant of several masters at once. According to the CIA documents, in November 1949 Rauff arrived in Rome from Beirut and stayed at the Pensione Telentino under the name of Walter Ralf. Sources at the hotel said that he had little money and lived frugally. He had no visitors and received only a few telephone calls. A Catholic priest known for his Nazi leanings gave Rauff 40,000 lire. On December 17, 1949, Rauff set sail for Ecuador. Both the ticket and his passport were supplied by either Israeli or British intelligence.
In January 1950, Cross told CIA agents that Rauff had left Italy and had severed his ties with Israeli intelligence, but had left behind many interesting documents. Cross promised to bring them to the next meeting, but the agents did not really believe him.
Freier said in the interview that Rauff continued to write to him. He told Nakdimon that he maintained contact with the Nazi "because I thought that one day I might need him. The Arabs trusted him."
Ben-Natan, who later served as director general of the Defense Ministry and ambassador to France and to Germany, now confirms that Freier employed Rauff but says he received a report from him to this effect only post factum. In retrospect, Ben-Natan today believes it was a mistake to forge ties with the Nazi criminal, but emphasizes that he provided very important material.
In the memoirs he published five years ago, Ben-Natan has a different account. He writes that Freier "succeeded in sending to Syria a former Nazi officer, who upon his return brought information about the deployment of the Syrian army." Ben-Natan confirms that the officer was Rauff, but is not absolutely certain which version is correct. In writing the book, he says, he relied solely on his memory.
What did the Israelis who hired Rauff know about his past? Were they aware of the gravity of his crimes? Asked by Nakdimon whether he knew at the time that Rauff was responsible for the gas-vans and the death of up to 200,000 people, Freier said he was not: "I asked him about his past, and he claimed that he had been the Gestapo official in charge of forging British pounds in order to subvert the British economy. Only years later did I hear on the radio that the Americans, after decoding files of senior Nazis, stated that Rauff had been in charge of all the engineering activity of the Gestapo."
It is difficult to believe that Freier did not know who he was recruiting. On May 2, 1945, many newspapers reported that "the infamous Colonel Rauff, the long-sought head of the SS in Milan, was captured." On October 19, 1945, Rauff, in American captivity, signed a sworn declaration admitting his involvement in killing Jews in the gas-vans. This document was submitted at the Nuremberg trials, together with a letter from his subordinate, Dr. August Becker, which contained a report about technical problems in the mass murder of the Jews. Apart from this, Rauff's name appears 31 times in the transcripts of the Nuremberg trials. This information was readily available: all one had to do was contact Dr. Robert Kempner, an American Jew who was the deputy chief prosecutor at Nuremberg, or the Jewish observers who followed the trials. Ben-Natan, who collected material about Nazi war criminals during this period in Europe, confirms that this information was available.
Rauff's mention in connection with the SS project to forge British banknotes calls into question another operation in which Freier was involved. At the end of the war, a Jew named Jacques Van Harten, one of the central agents of the forgery project, contacted Jewish soldiers from Palestine in northern Italy and offered them large quantities of forged banknotes in return for protection. (An article about this episode appeared in this magazine in 2000.)
In addition to large sums of money, Van Harten was also in possession of a large quantity of jewelry. Shmuel Ossia, an associate of Freier, testified that Freier interrogated Van Harten at length about his past. Ossia remembers seeing the frightened Van Harten in the corridor during the interrogation, which went on for a few days. Van Harten undoubtedly related how he had helped Himmler's special envoy, Kurt Becher, who was in charge of plundering the property of Hungarian Jewry, and revealed what he knew about the source of the forged British money, which later, thanks to Van Harten, would become a crucial source of funding for the illegal immigration and arms purchasing operations of the Haganah, the forerunner of the Israel Defense Forces.
The extent of Freier's awareness of Van Harten's deeds is shown not only by the commanders of the illegal immigration project (Aliyah Bet), but also by the fact that in an interview to the historian Nana Sagi in 1966, he said with feigned innocence that he did not understand how no reference was made to Van Harten in the Kastner and Eichmann trials. Sagi did not ask Freier why he did not use his extensive connections to address the issue.
The Americans arrested Van Harten in Italy, on suspicion of abetting the escape of Nazi war criminals. The Mossad l'Aliya Bet - the clandestine organization of the Jewish community in pre-1948 Palestine, which was in charge of the illegal immigration of Jews to the country - tried to obtain Van Harten's release. Yitzhak Tamari, a soldier in the Haganah who knew why Van Harten had been arrested, protested to the commander of the Haganah unit in Italy, Eliahu Ben Hur (Cohen). Ben Hur, who later became a major general in the IDF, told Tamari that Van Harten had been promised protection and a gentleman always keeps his word.
Following Van Harten's release, in 1946, Ben Hur instructed his father, Abba Cohen, Tel Aviv's fire chief, to help Van Harten acclimatize. Van Harten opened a jewelry store on Nahalat Binyamin Street, near the Carmel produce market. Abba Cohen later got a job in one of Van Harten's businesses. Van Harten died in 1973, a respected businessman and a resident of the upscale community of Savyon who during the war had used his money and connections to save Jews and smuggle out valuables for them, particularly jewelry. His family stuck to this account even after the publication of the article in 2000. The jewelry store, by the way, closed down soon after the article appeared.
Freier also helped Van Harten in 1947, when the British wanted to deport him. He put him in touch with the Jerusalem lawyer Mordechai Eliash and was probably also responsible for a letter sent to the British by Golda Meyerson (Meir), as the acting foreign minister of the Jewish Agency, stating that Van Harten was under the protection of the pre-State Jewish community, the Yishuv, because he had ostensibly helped save Jews.
But Van Harten was small fry compared to Rauff, who was a criminal on the same scale as Eichmann. It is thus not surprising that Klarsfeld, who invested considerable efforts to bring Rauff to trial, almost slammed down the telephone receiver when she heard that he had been employed by Israeli intelligence and had received its assistance in escaping to Europe. "In 1984, when I campaigned in Chile for Rauff's extradition, I had no knowledge of so-called 'contacts' between him and the Mossad," Klarsfeld wrote in an e-mail. "I doubt that it could have been possible, because Rauff was well-known in the Jewish world for his role in the gassing program by trucks and also because he persecuted the Jews of Tunisia when he was head of the Nazi police in Tunisia, and he persecuted the Jews in Italy when he was head of the Nazi police in Milano." Similarly, the director of the Israeli office of the California-based Simon Wiesenthal Center, Dr. Ephraim Zuroff, finds it improbable that Freier did not know about Rauff's crimes.

The excerpt is a literal translation of the letter the Jewish Rescue Committee in Czechoslovakia received from the Zionist "Jewish" Agency Executive Officers in Switzerland. This was in reply to the call of the Jewish Rescue Committee for help, with Documentary evidence furnished, concerning the fate of millions of Jewish people in Nazi occupied Europe.
"We are writing to remind you of the one factor of which you must never lose sight: that ultimately, the Allies will win the war. After their victory, territorial boundaries will be reshaped, as they were after the First World War. Then, the way will be clear for our purpose. At this time, with the war drawing to a close, we must do everything in our power to change Eretz Yisroel into Medinat Yisrael and many steps have already been taken in this regard. Therefore, we must turn a deaf ear to the pleas end cries emanating from Eastern Europe. Remember this: all the allies have suffered many losses, and if we also do not offer many human sacrifices, how can we gain the right to sit at the conference table when the territorial boundaries are reshaped? Accordingly, it is foolhardy and brazen for us to negotiate in terms of money or supplies in exchange for Jewish lives. After I accustomed myself to the peculiar writing, I trembled when I realized the import of RAK B'DAM TIHJE LANU HAAREZ. But many weeks passed, and I was still confounded by the meaning of ATEM TAJLU. Until one day, it struck me. ATEM TAJIU meant "You escape", for the word "tiyul" (walking trip) was used by them as a euphemistic code for "escape". They meant to say - you fifteen or twenty "party members", escape from Czechoslovakia and save your hides. The price of Eretz Yisroel is the blood of the men and women, hoary sages, and babes in arms, - but not YOUR blood! Let us not spoil this plan by giving the Axis powers money to save Jewish lives. But for you, comrades, I have enclosed carfare for your escape. What a nightmare! The Zionist agent "diplomat" comes to Czechoslovakia and says 'Now is a very critical time. But comparatively speaking, it is not at all critical for you trapped Jews. For there is an emergency of far greater proportions; namely, BINYAN HA-ARETZ (the prize of Modinat Yisrael). The "Jewish Agency" leaders sabotaged this plan with the observation that the plan was disloyal to Palestine, and the 300 rabbis and their families should be gassed.

IS IT TRUE that during the course of the negotiations mentioned above, Chaim Weitzman, the first "Jewish statesman" stated: "The most valuable part of the Jewish nation is already in Palestine, and those Jews living outside Palestine are not too important". Weitzman's cohort, Greenbaum, amplified this statement with the observation "One cow in Palestine is worth more than all the Jews in Europe".

Regelmatig tref je op de diverse rechtsbekkende websites stukken aan over Hadj Amin al-Husseini, en “zijn” SS-divisie, de 13. Waffen-Gebirgs-Division, ook wel “Handschar” genaamd. Je ziet dan vaak foto’s waarop een zekere “groot mufti”, Amin al-Husseini, SS troepen inspecteert bestaande uit “moslim vrijwilligers”. Duidelijk is dat Amin al-Husseini fout was, zowel voor, tijdens als na de oorlog. Zoveel is waar.
En dan nog samenwerken met de Nazi’s ook. Er zijn zelfs schrijvers die beweren dat islamieten de Holocaust hebben verzonnen. Je zou bijna geloven dat er een groot moefti aan te pas moest komen om Hitlers Shoah mogelijk te maken. Het brein achter de Holocaust. Duizenden “moslim vrijwilligers”. Het doel van dit soort historische berichten op moderne websites in 2010 laat zich raden. Men wil de islam in diskrediet brengen via foute moslims. Da’s grappig he? Normaal doen ze het andersom.
Anyway in dit soort gevallen is sprake van de zogenaamde “guilty by association” techniek. Lees dat eens.
Dat is een techniek die op deze website niet toegestaan is. Dus als ik een stukje schrijf over de “strijd tegen de islam als kernpunt van ons buitenlands beleid” (PVV programma blz. 47) en er komt iemand melden dat ie altijd naar Opsporing Verzocht kijkt en dat ie daar veel lichtgetinte mensen ziet dan is dat verboden, ten eerste natuurlijk omdat het off topic is, maar dat spreekt neem ik aan vanzelf, ten tweede is het verboden omdat “het argument” dat lichtgetinte mensen die kennelijk zich aan criminaliteit schuldig maken, ook moslims zijn, en moslims geloven in de islam enzovoorts geen argument is, maar wel volstrekt fatsoenlijke mensen in diskrediet brengt.
Guilty by association. Niet toegestaan dus op deze site.

En dan nu de Waffen-SS. Zaten er alleen Duitsers en (Bosnische) moslims bij de Waffen-SS?
Nee, er zaten bijvoorbeeld ook 22.000 Nederlanders bij de Waffen-SS. Relatief het grootste aandeel van Europa. Er was geen volk zo enthousiast over de Waffen-SS als juist de Nederlanders.
Pas toen er geen “Nordische” vrijwilligers meer gevonden konden worden en er toch steeds meer SS’ers nodig waren kwamen de moslims (“van de groot mufti”) in beeld. Tegen die tijd zaten er al een miljoen vogels van diverse pluimage (buiten de Duitsers) bij de Waffen-SS.

HILVERSUM - Duitse militairen hebben in de Tweede Wereldoorlog veel meer kinderen verwekt bij Nederlandse vrouwen dan wordt aangenomen. Uit Duitse archieven blijken er meer dan 50.000 nakomelingen te zijn, veel meer dan de 10.000 waar bijvoorbeeld het Nederlands Instituut voor Oorlogsdocumentatie (NIOD) van uitgaat.
Actualiteitenprogramma NOVA onthulde de cijfers donderdagavond na onderzoek in archieven van de Duitse Wehrmacht. Het NIOD noemt de cijfers bij monde van een woordvoerder "opmerkelijk".
Volgens de beheerder van het archief, directeur Gerhardt van de Deutsche Dienststelle WASt, moesten soldaten die in bezet gebied een kind verwekten, dat bij de Wehrmacht melden. "De vrouwen kregen vervolgens geld van die vaders en een eenmalige uitkering van Duitsland voor het kind," zei hij tegen NOVA. "Dat werd allemaal geregistreerd. Het aantal kan nog veel hoger zijn dan 50.000, want onze tellingen houden in 1944 op."
Extra bijzonder
In zijn serie Het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden in de Tweede Wereldoorlog deed prof. L. de Jong een grove schatting naar het aantal. "Legers deden tot nu toe normaal gesproken geen mededelingen over verwekte kinderen in het buitenland," zegt zegsman D. Barnouw van het NIOD. "Dat maakt dit wel extra bijzonder. Dit aantal is voor mij nieuw."
Het Wehrmacht-archief krijgt de laatste tijd steeds meer aanvragen uit Nederland van mensen die informatie willen over hun Duitse vader. Volgens directeur Gerhardt komt dat doordat veel oorlogskinderen pas na de dood van hun moeder te horen krijgen dat zij door een Duitse militair zijn verwekt.
