An sich een interessante discussie. Je zou toch denken dat de vele goden welke de mensheid aanhangt inmiddels wel hun voorkeur duidelijk hebben gemaakt.

Mijn zienswijze is ietwat afwijkend. Ik denk dat de Amerikanen onbedoeld de wereld aan het democatiseren zijn zonder militair interventie. Ik doel daarmee op het twitteren, de video upstreams, skype en andere social media.

Ter adstructie. Nadat in Libië het regime trachtte de servers down te zetten werden er door US bedrijven zoals Google proxy servers opgezet waardoor de video upstreams en twitter feeds en Skype weer kon plaatsvinden.

Je kunt opdringerige ideologiëen niet meer behind closed doors uitvoeren waardoor vele autoritaire regimes en religies geen kans van slagen meer hebben in de tijd van de opkomst van social media en vrije informatie feeds.

Wellicht een ietwat frivole overpeinzing en gevolgtrekking maar ik vond het een revolutionaire ontwikkeling.

As for what the nussus say when the wise faces Fitna, then the following hadith which illustrates that the more one is moving, which necessitates spreading the fitna more, the more one is in wrong. So how can you claim that silence is not good in matters like these. This is the hadith:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "There will be afflictions (in the near future) during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and the standing one will be better than the walking one, and the walking one will be better than the running one, and whoever will expose himself to these afflictions, they will destroy him. So whoever can find a place of protection or refuge from them, should take shelter in it."
