2 Palestinians martyred

Gaza City, Dec 2 - Two Palestinians were martyred Sunday in an Israeli incursion into the Gaza Strip.
Israeli troops and tanks, backed by two gunships, stormed the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahia overnight, sparking gunbattles which killed a 32-year-old Palestinian. They also destroyed the houses of three wanted combatants, killing the deaf and almost blind father of one of them in the process, Palestinian medical sources said.
The 72-year-old Palestinian was found dead under the rubble of his own house which was destroyed by the army.
His son is a member of the Islamic Jihad group, which was again targeted later Sunday, when an Israeli gunship fired two missiles on a car east of Gaza City, Palestinian witnesses said.
Three bystanders were injured but the passengers managed to escape.
