Greek Archbishop Asks Christians To Join The Bombings

Greek Orthodox Archbishop Attallah Hanna, 37, a Palestinian archbishop, is calling upon Arab and Palestinian Christians to join the Muslim suicide bombers in killing Jews using "any means at their disposal."
Hanna claimed that the "suicide bombers" do not commit suicide nor are they terrorists, but are "fighters against occupation." This message came out after 22 people died this month in the worst suicide bombing in almost a year in Israel.
Hanna also claims on the Hamas website that the bombers are "heroes" and that "we're proud of them." He wants an Islamic-Christian union that will destroy the "American offensive" against Iraq and "release Palestine."

"In the past three months, a far-reaching defamation campaign was launched against me in a number of Israeli newspapers accusing me of supporting terrorism and violence and condoling suicide attacks. I have a strong conviction that the slander, assault and arrest are all part of a chain of accusations meant to deliver a message to me, and the rest of the Christian and Moslem religious leaders."
