Minister says Sweden could halt weapons exports if U.S. attacks Iraq without U.N. approval

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Sweden could halt weapons exports to the United States if American forces attack Iraq (news - web sites) without U.N. approval, a government official said Thursday.
"Without a U.N mandate the decision on this issue becomes considerably more difficult," Deputy Finance Minister Gunnar Lund told The Associated Press. "There could be factors that suggest that we shouldn't continue to export."
