Six Palestinian civilians martyred

Gaza City, May 1 - Six Palestinians, including a two-year-old child, were killed Thursday in Gaza City during an Israeli military raid into an eastern district of the densely-populated city, Palestinian medical and security sources said.
The child, named as Amir Ayad, was killed by a bullet in the head, the sources said.
Medics said that Abdullah Al-Amrani, 17, also received a fatal wound in the neck during the dawn incursion of around one kilometer by more than 10 tanks and other military vehicles backed by helicopters.
Two more Palestinians, one named as Mohamed Abu Zreina, were also killed and seven were wounded, two critically, while a house was destroyed in the raid into the Shajaiya district, an area under Palestinian authority control, the sources said.
