3 Children Kept in Closet, Made to Eat Feces and Vomit
A woman from Akron Ohio and her life partner are being charged with abusing 6 children in their care. Officials say 3 of the children had been kept in a closet over the last few months and were punished by being made to eat animal feces and vomit. The children are aged between 6 and 14, reports say the 8 year old weighed a mere 28lbs. "It's one of the worst neglectful cases we've seen in a very long time," said the director of children's services. The abuse was first reported in November, but no one visited the house until the new year and no investigation was ordered. Police found some of the children wandering the streets barefoot after they had pried nails from a window and ran away.
