On May 20, 2003, Israeli occupation forces finally withdrew from Beit Hanoun, invaded last week in an effort to crush Palestinian resistance emanating from the town. The town was left in ruins, with at least 15 houses torn down and massive tracts of crops destroyed. Eight Palestinians were killed in the raid, including several children. The pictures show the extent of the damage and loss, both material and human, inflicted on the town and its inhabitants
