Islamabad, July 13 - Pakistan Jamaat-e-Islami Party Chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed Saturday warned Pakistan government against any support to the United States in any hostility against the neighboring Iran.
Ahmed slammed President Musharraf remarks that Pakistan would keep national interests in mind if the United States launches attack on Iran.
"General Musharraf must have strongly condemned and opposed any possible US action against the brotherly Iran," the Jamaat Chief told reporters in Islamabad."
The Pakistani president's statement has encouraged those forces, who want to soil relations between Pakistan and Iran," he said.
The Jamaat Leader condemned American threats to Iran and said the people of Pakistan would raise voice against any American action against Iran.
"We will stand with the people of Iran and government in case of any possible aggression against our Muslim brothers," he said.
He accused Washington of creating hatred between Pakistan and Iran.
"Pakistan should not be misled by the United States," he said.
Talking about attack on Shia Muslim mosque in Quetta a week ago, the Jamaat Chief said there is no rift between Sunnis and Shias in Pakistan and attack on Shia and Sunni mosques is the work of those who create hatred among the brothers.

Things are heating up in Pakistan. De aanval op de Shi-itsche moskee in Quetta, waarschijnlijk uitgevoerd door Al-Qa'ida elementen in opdracht van Neo-Con CIA assets (Woolsey departement) zijn bedoeld om een regionaal conflict uit te lokken tussen Shi'iten en Soennieten, waarbij Iran natuurlijk een belangrijke rol zal gaan spelen. Nog een of twee van dit soort aanvallen en Iran kan moeillijk stil blijven zitten bij deze brute aanvallen op hun geloofsgenoten. Ook wordt de Pakistaanse regering van binnenuit tegengewerkt door radicale elementen die de regering omver zullen gooien als het tegen hen keert.
Precies het plan van de Neo-cons, het midden-oosten en centraal Azie in brand te zetten om zo de aandacht af te leiden van het inelkaar donderende economische systeem, IMF/Wereldbank. Immers als er dan toch Hitler taktieken nodig zijn, kan de oorlog beter worden uitgevoerd in landen ver weg.
hhmmm ik weet niet of het wel islamitisch zal worden ooit helemaal, ik heb gewoond in pakistan en bijna nergens was er veel aanhang van die islamitische partijen laatste , opeens kwam het op tijdens amerikaanse 'bevrijdingsoorlogen' :vingers: . maar hoe ik pas geleden daar zag was dat het alweer wegzakt. in het was vooral sterk in de streken aangrenzend met afghanistan, terwijl de grote meerderheid toch in sindh en punab provincie wonen. daar is de aanhang van musharraf ook nog redelijk. ik weet niet wat ik van hem moet vinden zoals velen omdat hij nouw eenmaal een dictator is maarjah hij heeft wel veel gedaan voor pakistan sinds lange tijd, en ook nog gered laatste tijd. ik vind hem alleen goed omdat hij aan ons nationale interest denkt.

Militants 'claim' Quetta killings

A videotape and letter have been handed to the BBC in which Pakistan's banned Sunni militant organisation Lashkar-e-Jhangvi claims it killed 50 Shia Muslims in a mosque in the city of Quetta 11 days ago.
The letter said a series of attacks against Shia Muslims sent a message of protest against the Pakistan's Shia minority and the government.
Pakistani Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat has said the investigation is advancing into the killings.
The videotape handed to BBC reporters in Quetta showed three men who claimed to belong to Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
Only one talks to a still camera - the youngest, who is described as a 17-year-old suicide attacker.
He delivers a 10-minute anti-Shia diatribe.
He and his colleagues' appearance match those of three men who were identified by the police as the culprits in the mosque killing spree.
Pictures of their bloodied faces were published in newspapers after the attack.
The author of an accompanying letter, dated after the mosque attack, claims responsibility on behalf of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi for it and a string of attacks, including one the previous month in which 12 Shia police cadets were killed in the back of their truck by drive-by attackers.
Prophet's honour
The letter says all the attacks were a protest against the government, President Pervez Musharraf, the United States and Iran.
The letter says the mosque attackers sacrificed their lives to protect the honour of the Prophet Mohammed and his wife.
The dispute over the heirs to Mohammed is what lies at the hear of the dispute between Sunnis and Shias 1,400 years ago.
The Iranian revolution, led by Shia clerics, exacerbated the enmity.
It is not clear how much the admission of responsibility will affect the investigation.
To date dozens of people have been detained. Some have been released.
But between 30 and 35 suspects remain in custody under arrest.

trouwens de amerikaanse 'neo-cons ' willen denk ik niet onrust zaaien maar juist macht (beetje van hun) en stabiliteit in de kernmacht . ze willen als laatst een onstabiel land met kernwapens dus daar ben ik niet zo eens met je.

Pakistan heeft niks om de kernkoppen een paar landen verder te brengen voor zover ik weet. En het boeit de Verenigde Satan echt niet als pakistan de omringende landen plat bombardeerd. Ze zouden zelfs heel blij zijn denk.

hahah over het algemeen zijn de pakistaanse raketten wel beter dan indiase (bbc/cnn), vooral omdat ze zijn afgeleid van chineze raketten alleen de ghauri volgens mij, hierdoor hebben ze veel geleerd. ik weet wel dat de foutmarge ofzo veel kleiner was en ook dat de ghauri eerder dan de agni 1 in dienst trad. Ghauri was trouwens een moslim heerser die de toen der tijd hindu koning agni ofzo overwon. :blij:

KARACHI: Pakistan's defence exports are likely to cross well over $130 million this year with a target of $1 billion within next eight years; this was stated by the Director Policy Planning, Defence Export Promotion Organisation (DEPO), Air Commodore, Mansoor Malik.
In a meeting with the President, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), to discuss private sector's participation in the prescribed limits maintained by the defence services under arms control regime.
Pakistan is already exporting over $100 million while $30 million contract for export of medium range missiles has been signed recently.
Defence exports are aimed at gradual increase in the successive years with a target of over one billion dollars within next eight years, Malik said.
He informed that over 200 items including missiles and tanks and the accessories related to them and other arms are being exported to more than 21 targeted countries including Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Morocco, Libya, Mauritius and other of Africa.
Private sector has already been involved in manufacturing of the parts and accessories of a number of defence export items and the Defence Export Promotion Organisation is hunting for more potential exporters to share the defence exports directly or indirectly, Mansoor Malik added.
Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry chief called for constant liaison between KCCI and the DEPO for awareness regarding defence exports so that private sector could share properly.
Malik agreed that Board of Governors of the DEPO be reorganised and KCCI make fresh nominations of two members for the board.
