ablaze: no casualties
Pristina, July 20, SPA -- Two explosions late Sunday at the
local courthouse in the Kosovo capital of Pristina started a fire,
eyewitnesses reported.
No casualties were reported.
The attack was presumed to be retaliation by ethnic Albanian
militants for the prison sentences of up to 17 years for four
commanders of the disbanded UCK rebel army. The four prisoners were
convicted of war crimes during a 1999 insurgency.
Albanians in Kosovo had already held several protests since the
men were sentenced on Wednesday.
