Polisario, a Front Serving Algerian Interests, Former Polisario Officials

RABAT, Aug. 02 - Three former officials of the Polisario (Algeria-backed secessionist guerrilla movement that claims the independence of Morocco's southern provinces), who recently returned to Morocco, said "the Polisario is a mere front that serves Algeria's interests and that is hostile to Morocco's territorial integrity."

In an interview published Saturday by Moroccan "Assahra Al Maghribiya" daily, three former Polisario cadres said they were led astray by the Polisario group.

Morocco's territorial integrity is the one and unique solution to the Sahara question, they insisted, adding that the creation of a non-viable entity cannot be accepted by reason and even less by logic.

According to the three returnees, the majority of Polisario cadres have already returned to their homeland, Morocco, and that the people who are politically mature will soon dissociate themselves of this comedy, performed by the Polisario.

Keltoum Al khayat, former cadre at the so-called department of external relations of Polisario's Women Union, described the bitterness she felt as she discovered that mercenary actions of Polisario leaders to the detriment of Moroccan citizens that are sequestered in Tindouf camps in southwestern Algeria.

For his part, Sidati Mohamed Ben Abdellah Ghillaoui, who represented Polisario in Rome and other countries, recalled that he had an Algerian passport and that he received orders from Algerian intelligence services. He voiced hope to see good-intentioned people return to their homeland.

Former member at the General Secretariat of the Polisario Youth Union, Mohamed Ben M'hamed Yahdeh, said Algeria is the real mentor of the pseudo project of the Polisario. He recalled the importance of the action that they led in Madrid to unveil the reality of the Polisario mercenaries.

Klinkt me toch te propagandistisch.
