Welsh Woman Leaves Family For Australian Chat Room Lover
With a casual 'I'm popping to the shop' Margaret Fiore, 40, left her husband of 18 years, and their 13 year old son, and caught a plane to Australia to move in with a man she had met on the Internet.
Margaret Fiore said: "Life with Christopher was dull. We never talked, which is why I spent most evenings on the Internet." Of leaving her son she added: "I couldn't drag him with me to the other side of the world but I couldn't face saying goodbye."
Chris Fiore said that he had not seen the danger in the on-line friendship since the friend was also married with a child. "I was gutted and shocked but worst of all was trying to explain it to Sam."
