Yemen accuses Britain of terrorism against it
Yemen, Politics, 2/4/1999

Yemeni Minister of the Interior Hussein Arab has accused Britain of being involved in terrorist schemes in Yemen and that it had provided two "reserve British passports for the detained groups in Yemen," adding that this group was assigned to carry out this scheme in Yemen.

"Only the state can provide reserve passports," Arab was quoted as saying.

In a statement to the United Arab Emirates UAE's al-Khaleej daily Arab said that Britain is involved in this case "We told that to the British face to face, and unless they clarify this case we consider them involved in this question."

The Yemeni minister indicated two possibilities: "Either Britain will be involved in this scheme, or there is a strong gang of a great effect and had penetrated the British security systems."

Sanaa accused eight British citizens who were arrested in December 1998 of being sent to Yemen by an extremist who lives in London, Abu Hamzeh al-Masri, to launch aggressions against British and US interests in Yemen.

Five of the convicted persons are now on trial in Aden, southern Yemen.

Dit heeft alles te maken met de geheime steun van de Britse en Amerikaanse geheime diensten aan "Al-Qa'ida" tijdens de Bosnie en Kosovo crisis.
