Punks Set To "Rock Against Bush"
Punk bands such as Good Charlotte, Green Day, Sum41 and others are teaming up to make a "Rock Against Bush" album. The album will be made by the Fat Wreck Chords label, which is headed by Fat Mike from NOFX.
Green Day has said they will be donating new material for the album but it is not known if the other bands will produce new material. Two tours are being planned, one to celebrate the albums release, the other to coincide with the 2004 elections.
Fat Mike told MTV.com that, in regards to campaigning against President Bush directly, "I think it's our responsibility as citizens and musicians to do so. He's wrecking the country and the world...This is something I really believe in."
