OCCUPIED JERUSALEM - Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shot dead three Palestinian youths within 24 hours in two separate incidents in the Gaza Strip, and deported more Palestinian administrative detainees to the Strip from the West Bank in a policy denounced by the PNA as a "rejected and dangerous policy.”

IOF overnight Saturday shot dead 15-year old Jihad Mousa al-Akhras at the southern Gaza Strip Rafah border crossing point with Egypt, while he was waiting to receive relatives coming back home from Egypt.

Al-Akhras was sprayed with gunfire by Israeli troops after he approached the fence snaking along the Gaza Strip and Egyptian border, the sources told AFP.

Relatives said the army initially refused to let them recover the body of Akhras, who worked as a porter at the freight terminal in Rafah, but that they were later able to do so.

A brother of the victim was also killed by IOF troops in Rafah under similar circumstances last year, the family said.

An IOF spokesman said Israeli soldiers had shot a Palestinian in the area, but did not confirm that he had died.

At another crossing point between the eastern Gaza Strip and Israel, an IOF spokesman said two young Palestinians were shot dead, claiming they were carrying explosives and were planning to carry out an attack.

Victims Ashraf Abdelsalam al-Hayya, 17 and Abdelkarim Sukkar, 19, were both members of the Hamas group, Palestinian sources told AFP.

Their bodies were recovered Saturday by a Palestinian medical team close to the Nahal-Oz crossing point and taken to the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City.

In the northern West Bank, around twenty IOF military jeeps stormed early Sunday into Siris village, which lies between Nablus and Jenin, Palestinian security sources said.

They encircled a house and blew open the door, seizing a wanted member of the Al Aqsa Martrys' Brigades, hiding inside.

The detainee had fled from the nearby town of Tammun but had been tracked by troops into Siris, they said.

The IOF confirmed the arrest.
