Open Letter to President Georges W. Bush (Dyab Abou jahjah)

Mr. President, in the name of the Arab people divided by colonialism, Occupied by your troops and Zionists, and oppressed by all kind of dictators and corrupted regimes, I would like to Thank you.

I would like to thank you because you have leveled with us, and for the first time in decades, as an American president you have told us the truth about your position on Palestine .

For decades the United States has been supporting Israel relentlessly in its colonization of Palestine and its ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian People. Your Country financed, armed and diplomatically supported every move Israel made. Your Country has vetoed systematically every UN resolution that might even verbally condemn Israel , and even resolutions condemning Israeli Massacres of innocent civilians were not spared from your Veto. Your Country has been pressuring the Palestinians to concede and concede in the name of a peace that never came, till they are left with nothing to concede, and nothing to negotiate upon. You did all that while claiming that you are neutral, that you are committed to a just peace, and that you are an honest broker to the peace process. We knew you were lying, but we always wanted to be wrong, we kept hoping that we are wrong, and on top of that, the whole world was telling us that we are wrong, that we are extremists. So now that you went on the record, and asked Palestinians to denounce the right of return to their houses and properties that have been illegally occupied and confiscated by the Zionists after the ethnic cleansing of 1948 (that some call the creation of the State of Israel). And after that you clearly stated that even a compromise in which the Palestinian people concedes 80 percent of historical Palestine in exchange for peace and 20 percent of Palestine (the 1967 territories) that even this is unacceptable and that Israel should also keep parts of those 20 percents in addition to the land it raped in 1948. Now that you called Sharon again a man of peace and gave your blessing to his genocidal racist plans, and to a “ Strong Jewish State” rejecting any possibility of the only democratic solution, namely one democratic binational state. Now that you went on record saying all that, you have done us an immense favor, you confronted us with the reality as it is, and helped some of us in dissipating the last illusions that they had regarding a pax Americana that would bring peace and harmony to our beloved Arab homeland.

Mr. President, this is how things stand, you and your Zionist Allies have clearly declared war on the Arab people. You are still occupying us, you are still colonizing us and you are still supporting the dictators that oppress us. As long as this is the case, the Arab people will fight back. As we speak, Arab Moudjahideen are resisting your aggression and occupation troops in Faloudja, in Baghdad , in Nadjaf, in Gaza and Jerusalem and Ramallah. The same way the Arab people resisted and defeated you in Beirut, in Sidon, in Tyr. These are Arabs fighting on their ground against a foreign invader, and history taught us, that the struggle of peoples for liberation will always lead to victory. Only people who do not fight oppression stay oppressed, and peoples who do not fight occupation stay occupied.

Thank you for making it clear to the rest of our people that a just peace can not be reached as long as the “facts on the grounds” do not change. And we couldn’t agree with you more, the “ facts on the ground” can not be ignored, and that’s why the Moudjahideen will create new facts on the ground, by burying your soldiers in it.

We also thank you for revealing what peace for you means. It’s the peace of Sharon, the peace of death on the hand of that butcher. If this is peace to you Mr. President, the Moudjahideen will make sure that you enjoy your bit of it as more and more of your soldiers will undoubtedly rest in peace.

Mr. President, we are a peaceful people, we do not attack unless we are attacked, we do not kill unless we are killed, and we do not aggress, we defend. If you want peace, you and your people, there is only one way, and that is the way out of our land. This people will fight against you, against the Zionists, against the dictators who live by your grace and that of the Zionists, and will overcome. This people is determined to fight against the odds, and till the last man standing for a just peace. A just peace means: the pulling back of your invading troops from Iraq and the rest of Arabland. A sovereign Palestinian State with Jerusalem Al Quds as its capital and complete right of return with compensation to all Palestinian refugees to their original villages, towns , homes and property. The dismantling of the Zionist entity and the creation of a democratic binational State in Palestine. A state where Arabs and Jews can coexist peacefully. The fall of all Arab dictators and the establishing of the people’s rule all across the nation.

These are the terms of the Arab people, and the Arab people will create the facts on the ground to apply them, by any means necessary.

Sincerely,

Dyab Abou Jahjah

hoogmoed komt voor de val

de zin luidt...."Mr. President, in the name of the Arab people divided by colonialism, Occupied by your troops and Zionists, and oppressed by all kind of dictators and corrupted regimes, ...."

Sorry to bother you again. But the urge for mankind to re-unite under UN values again, and the way the US gets Europe into trouble over that, may become quite clear in the following. letter to Bush, that may clearly illustrate how US Israel-politics radicalises Arabs, for reasons that could be ours just as well.

Source is a rather controversial radical Belgium-Dutch Arab group (AEL), that however is accepted over here. Have a look at their motivation?…
Don’t think that hidden anti-Semitism is the main drive here, nor another hidden agenda. This group is very well known for their plain presentations of what they think, and they get support for that reason. Their leader Dyab Abou Jahjah has been interviewed many times on TV. And what is more: most of the time he wins the discussions on the position of Arabs here, even in debates with experienced interviewers. Holland distrusts him. But they can’t deny his strong statements either.

Mijn dag is weer goed, altijd goed voor een lach die AEL. Als ze niet zo sneu waren, waren ze écht grappig.
