Israel concerned with Egypt military
JERUSALEM, April 17 (UPI) -- Israel should be increasingly concerned over the growing strength of Egypt and Saudi Arabia, according to a report by a Knesset foreign affairs expert.
The report, by Yval Steinitz, chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, and published by the Jerusalem-based Institute for Contemporary Affairs, focused on how both Cairo and Riyadh have been building their forces with advanced U.S. platforms and technology, the Middle East News Line reported.
The report says that while Israel has received more than the $30 billion in military aid from the United States over the past 22 years, it has to spend more of it on conflicts it was forced to engage in.
