In the English papers, it says that he couldn’t HEAR her because of her veil, not UNDERSTAND her. Do you get the difference between those 2 words ? How can you not hear someone sitting close to you ? A niqab doesn’t stop you from being heard.
No doctor should ask a woman to remove their veil, unless they come as patients. In this case, the consultation was for her daughter, not for her. You’re a woman yourself and I’m surprised that you’re not defending this poor woman.
At the end of the day, if doctors act like that, I understand why some Muslim women don’t want to be seen by male doctors.
A doctor should do his job. His job only.
