All these disciplines are firmly rooted in the post modern academic tradition.
Post modernism is, to my knowledge, only possible in a western self critical academic culture.
I know of no scientific culture outside the western academic culture where a critical stance toward the own epistemic presuppositions are taken into account.
Would you know a scientific tradition outside the western academic one where someone studies the context of knowledge aqcuisition? Eg. whether a researcher is male or not, is from a minority or not.
